Central Christian Church in Ocala, FL redesigned their site using the Modernize theme I featured Monday. Trevor Curington, the site designer, let us know about the site and liked the theme’s responsive design and extra features, particularly the page builder. I think it’s a great theme for churches.

MinisterSearch is a church staffing organization founded by David Lyons. More than any other team or organization in the world, churches should be the best at hiring the right people. MinisterSearch helps churches and ministers connect with each other in a way that benefits both parties.
They recently redesigned their WordPress based website. It appears they used the free theme Atahualpa and then customized it extensively for a simple, clean, concise look. I recommend you check them out for WordPress ideas and church staffing needs.
The Rock Church of Northeast Arkansas Uses WordPress
In the last post I featured the inFocus theme available at ThemeForest.net as a great theme for churches. The Rock Church of Northeast Arkansas uses that theme on their site and the results are stunning. I like the changes they made to the navigation along with the addition of the service times and social icons in the top right corner. The used the Grunge skin of the inFocus theme and it seems to be a great fit.
The Bridge Church – Spring Hill, TN
The Bridge Church in Spring Hill, TN uses WordPress for their church website. They used the OnTheGo Theme from Elegant themes, a theme that was originally hand-drawn and scanned in. The OnTheGo theme has a look that communicates fun and the theme comes in 4 different colors.
Genesis Church in Spokane, WA Uses WordPress
Genesis Church in Spokane, WA used WordPress in the design of their new church website. They used the Life Site Template (not a WordPress theme) from ThemeForest.net. Pastor Josh indicated that the footer was customized and the site template has not easily worked with some plugins but clearly it has made for an excellent look.
Parkside Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX Uses WordPress
Parkside Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX uses WordPress. They used the Resolution Theme featured on this site a couple days ago. Resolution can be purchased for $35 from ThemeForest.net. A home page builder comes with the Resolution theme and Parkside made good use of the jQuery slider and the six content boxes for their home page.
Clifton Community Church Uses WordPress and WooThemes
Clifton Community Church in the UK uses WordPress. Paul Cook of Catalyst Designs designed the site and used the Simplicity theme from WooThemes that was featured on this site 2 days ago. Paul liked using the featured slider and 3 of the box widgets on the home page and smartly used the portfolio feature as the staff page. I like the two navigation menus and the footer containing a lot of the extra content.
Real Life Christian Church Uses WordPress
Real Life Christian Church in Chesapeake, VA uses WordPress for their recently re-designed website. They used the Studeo WordPress Theme available from ThemeForest. I really like the look of that theme and it works great for churches or ministries. The site is currently under construction as they are still in the process of fine tuning it.
Proclaimers Church Uses WordPress
Proclaimers is one church in two locations, Norwich and Ipswich, UK. They seem to be using a custom theme. They’re using a Quick Links drop down at the top of the site like many churches are doing. I think they are a great way to give your regular visitors easy access to every section on the website.

Cornerstone Community Church’s website runs on WordPress! The website was designed by Mike Morris of Faith Engineer Design and it runs on the Moses theme from Church Themer. Church Themer makes great themes that you can easily customize and put right to work to have a great church website up and running quickly.
